Day 1 of National Management Week started with the bang. the glittering eyes of new batch said it all, with new hopes and confidence to move ahead, the welcome of new batch started in our traditional way "Tilak Ceremony".

The program started with lamp lighting and praying to Maa Saraswati before proceeding to orientation ceremony of the new batch.

The dignitaries present at the program were Mr. Sanjay Saraswat, Suprintendent, National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics of Goverment of India; Mr. K.S. Chhabra, Founder Sevak, Anand Ashram; Shri Pratapbhai Shah, Hon. Secretary, SMJV Vadodara and Dr. Rajesh Khajuria, Director, CKSVIM.

The orientation started with the welcome speech of Institute Director, Dr. Rajesh Khajuria. In his speech he briefed about Institute’s Achievements and encouraged the new batch to particpate in NMW 2017 activities.

Shri Pratapbhai Shah made the new batch familiar with the facilities of the SMJV Trust & Institute.

Shri Harshadbhai Shah, Rector SMJV boy’s hostel gave a brief introduction about Param Pujaya Vallabh Surishwarji Maharaj and how he laid the foundation of Shri Mahavira Jain Vidhyalaya before 102 years.

Mr. Sanjay Saraswat, briefed us about the listening skills and how communication is important in corporate life. He also shared the concept of GST with students.

K.S Chhabra, founder,Sevak blessed the students and briefed about the concept of Netra Daan- (Eye donation Pledge) and encouraged the students to motivate the citizens of vadodara to do more Netra Daan. He also showed interest in getting associated with CK Shah Vijapurwala Institute of Management for conducting various CSR activities. In conclusion to his speech he said a beautiful line:”delivering happiness to your soul by helping others”.

Mr. Jagdish Gohil, Hon. Secretary, VCCI blessed and wished them good luck for their new journey at CKSVIM.

The dignitaries on the dais launched the Diploma program of Goods and Service Tax, and long awaited National Management Week 2017. Also released the Management and Research Journal "SANKALPA," Volume 7: Issue 2.

Dr. Kunjal Sinha, Associate Professor briefed about CKSVIM.

Reshma Wadhwani and Parth Jadhav, Batch 8 shared experience about their memorable journey at CKSVIM.

The CKSVIM code of conduct was explained by Mr. Gaurang Badheka, Assistant Professor, to the students and their paretns as well.

The vote of thanks was given by Ms. Hetal Thakar, Assistant Professor.
