"Ganesh Chaturthi" is one of the most celebrated festivals across the different parts of the country.

Continuing the legacy of past 6 years, this year also the students of CKSVIM celebrated the festival and welcomed Lord Ganesha wholeheartedly and enthusiasm. The idol of Lord Ganesha was kept for 5 days, from 25th-29th August'17.

Considering the current environmental problems faced by the society, the theme was eco-friendly and the idol was made up of clay. During these 5 days of celebrations different cultural activities were been organized by the students such as rangoli making, arti thali decoration, mehendi and some of the few games like musical chair and lemon & spoon competitions.

On the 5th day, Satyanarayana Pooja was also organized wherein the students and faculty and staff members worshipped Lord Vishnu.

And by the day end, the visarjan of Lord Ganesha was done in a completely eco-friendly way in a small artificial pond in the campus itself.
