On the occasion of the 30th AIMS Annual Management Education Convention 2018, the Association of Indian Management Schools, in collaboration with Academy of Indian Marketing and NJOY Learning Processes Pvt..Ltd (representing Innovative Learning Solutions Inc, USA), offered a unique experience of participating in Conscious Capitalism Simulation Competition to Final Year MBA/PGDM students of AIM Institutions and AIMS Life Member Institutions.

As a part of the game Dhruv Patel, Himanshu Badlani, Kartik Desai, Lokesh Patel , Hardika Lalwani and Rutu Nayak  students of CKSVIM  Batch 9 participated in the game and secured 3rd Position in Western Region. The Conscious Capitalism is a conscious business in contrast to the traditional profit-maximizing business paradigm. The teams must consider all of the firm's stakeholders, including customers, stockholders, employees, suppliers, and the community. We had to deal with ethical, environmental and sustainability issues, in addition to the usual management challenges of running a business.

The game was divided into 6 quarters with each quarter being of one day from 30th July 2018 till 4th August 2018. Each quarter had several business decisions regarding different functional areas of business such as production, HR, marketing, sales, etc. There were total 8 teams out of which top two were going to get selected for the further round at Bangalore. CKSVIMites were consistently performing well in each quarter and it was a great experience being a part of this competition and competing with leading colleges of India such as Symbiosis Institute of International Business, Pune & IIM-I.
