The  9th Annual day of CKSVIM was conducted as a gloriously on the evening of 30th March 2019 at C.C. Mehta Auditorium, with honourable Chief Guests, Guest of Honours, invited guests, trustees, LMC Members, supporting staff & faculty members, enthusiastic students and cheering parents.

The Function started with Prayer to the almighty starting with Navkar Mantra, Shri Vallabh Surishwarji Stuti and Saraswati Vandana and the lamp was traditionally lighted by the dignitaries.

The function was graced by honourable Justice S H Vora, Gujarat High Court, Ahmedabad as the Chief Guest; Justice J C Doshi, Principal District Judge, Vadodara as the Guest of Honour;Justice Vachhani, Principal Commercial Disputes Judge, Vadodara as a Special Guest;Dr. Rajesh Khajuria, Founding Director, CKSVIM; Shri Pratapbhai Shah, Hon. Secretary, SMJV TrustShri Divyangbhai Shah and Shri Bipinbhai Shah, Local Committee Members.

Shri Pratapbhai Shah, Hon. Secretary of SMJV Trust Vadodara Branch welcomed the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, Dignitaries on the Dias and audience.

Dr. Rajesh Khajuria, Director, CKSVIM presented the progress reports of the institute for the year 2018 – 19 and highlighted the key achievements of the institute, faculties and students.

 

Leadership and Honour Awards for the year 2019:

Leadership Awards were given to the top industrialists and heads of industry / Academic Associations’ leaders for their exemplary contributions to CKSVIM under the MOU signed under Industry-Academia partnership with their organizations. 

This year’s Leadership Awardees were -

  • Manohar Chawla President Elect FGI- to recognise outstanding contribution of FGI to Industry – Academia Partnership
  • Mr Virendra Trivedi, Senior VP VCCI - to recognise outstanding contribution of VCCI to Industry – Academia Partnership
  • Mr H.M. Desai Secretary cum Treasurer, Vadodara Chapter ISTD - to recognise outstanding contribution of ISTD to Industry – Academia Partnership
  • Arvind Khode, Former President IIM - AAA- to recognise outstanding contribution of IIM-AAA Industry – Academia Partnership
  • Mr Satyen Gandhi, Chair Young Indian Vadodara Chapter- to recognise outstanding contribution from CII-Yi to CSR and Skill Development through Industry – Academia Partnership.

 

CKSVIM Honour Award 2018

Honour Awards were given to select Business and manufacturing organization’s Managing Director / Human Resources or Functional heads for their continuous or frequent support to recruit CKSVIM MBA students for Summer Internship Projects (SIP), Comprehensive Training (CP) or final Job placement.

This year’s Honour Awardees were -

  • Ashish Gandhi Head- Human Resource, Koch Glitsch–to recognise outstanding contribution to Industry Visits, Training and Skill Development of MBA Students through Industry – Academia Partnership.
  • Mr. Abhishek Mathur, Talent Acquisition Specialist – HDFC Bank– to recognise outstanding contribution to Industry Visits, Training and Skill Development of MBA Students through Industry – Academia Partnership.
  • Hemant Goel,CMD, Goel Scientific Glass Works Ltd.– to recognise outstanding contribution to Industry Visits, Training and Skill Development of MBA Students through Industry – Academia Partnership.
  • CA Amar Doshi, Mahajan Doshi & Associates – to recognise outstanding contribution to Industry Visits, Training and Skill Development of MBA Students through Industry – Academia Partnership.
  • Vinesh Namboothiripad, Carnegie Finvest Pvt. Ltd. – to recognise outstanding contribution to Industry Visits, Training and Skill Development of MBA Students through Industry – Academia Partnership.

 

CKSVIM Alumni of the Year Award 2019

A select MBA Alumni drawn from MBA Batch 1 (2009-2011) to MBA Batch 7 (2015-2017), were awarded with Alumni of the Year Awards for their helping in training and placement of MBA students through direct or indirect recruitment.

The norms for selection were to select from among those MBA Alumni who have helped at last three times, who were not awarded in last three years for the same Award, and excluding the last batch of MBA who should prove for at least two years after their MBA.

This year’s MBA Alumni Awardees were -

  • Mayuri Tolani, HR Executive, PMT Machines Tools Ltd- for actively engaging as CKSVIM Alumni in training & placement of our MBA students.
  • Suruchi Marwaha,HR Executive, Servilink Systems Ltd. - for actively engaging as CKSVIM Alumni in training & placement of our MBA students.
  • Renu Rajawat, Project Coordinator, Deepak Foundation - for actively engaging as CKSVIM Alumni in training & placement of our MBA students.
  • Riddhi Pundlik, HR Officer,BHR, Asian Paints Ltd. - for actively engaging as CKSVIM Alumni in training & placement of our MBA students.
  • Samkiti Gandhi,Manager, HR-Admin and QA, Goel Scientific Glass Works Ltd. - for actively engaging as CKSVIM Alumni in training & placement of our MBA students.

 

CKSVIM Family Business Award 2019

CKSVIM Family Business Awards are given to our MBA students who have joined their respective Family Business.

This year’s Family Business Awardees were -

  • Deep Bavisi – Pioneer Systems - to recognise your contribution to family business
  • Jagpal Rohra – Prem Cosmetics Ltd. - to recognise your contribution to family business
  • Kedar Vaid – Annapurna Caterers - to recognise your contribution to family business

 

CKSVIM Alumni Association Recognition Certificates 2019

Dr. Rajesh Khajuria, Founding Director, had launched the CKSVIM Alumni Association recently with the help of Dr. Stuti Trivedi and Dr. Ranjita Banerjee, Placement Coordinators as well as other faculties and staff members.

The first elected Team of 19 office-bearers from MBA Batch 1 (2009-2011) to MBA Batch 8 (2016-2018) were awarded with CKSVIM Alumni Association Certificates in an elated Group.

 

Academic Awards and Gold Medals  

To encourage and recognize the outstanding achievements and efforts in academic and extracurricular activities, various students were awarded with Gold Medal, Trophies and Certificates at the able hands of all the dignitaries present.

This year’s Gold Medal Awardees from MBA Batch 8 (2016-2018) were -

  • Dipchandbhai Gardi Gold Medalwas honoured to Mayur Sant for being CKSVIM Academic Topper and also Topper in Marketing specialization.
  • Satendra Kumar & Dr. Rekha Srivastava Gold Medalwas honoured to Niharika Shah for being Topper in MBA (Marketing) specialization.
  • Satendra Kumar & Dr. Rekha Srivastava Gold Medal was honoured to Riddhi Patel for being Topper in MBA (Finance) specialization.
  • Satendra Kumar & Dr. Rekha Srivastava Gold Medal was honoured to Aanal Shah for being Topper in MBA (Human Resource) specialization.

 

Students of the year Awards

  • The most coveted “Student of the Year Award” was given to Khushboo Sharma (Batch 9: 2017-2019)for her excellence performance in academics as well as extra-curricular activities within and outside the institute.
  • The “Leader of the Year Award” was given to Dhruv Patel (Batch 9: 2017-2019) for his praise worthy leadership qualities within and outside institute competitions and activities.

Highest Salary Package Awards

Two new Awards were instituted this year for the first time for securing the highest and second highest salary package by the final year MBA students of Batch 9 (2017-2019).

  • Celeste Solomon bagged the Award of the “Highest Salary Package”of Rs. 12,02,000 p.a. offered by Jaro Education Ltd., Mumbai
  • Himanshu Badlani bagged the Award for securing “2nd Highest Salary Package” of Rs. 6,15,000 p.a. offered by HFFC Ltd.

 

Shri Divyangbhai Shah gave Vote of Thanks for the Award function, and thanked the dignitaries on and off the Dias and everyone present.

 

Cultural Program

Post a short lunch break, the stage was taken over by the students who mesmerized the audience with their outstanding cultural talents. Ranging from Ganesh Vandana, Fashion Shaw, Uri act and Uri mime which portrayed recent patriotism, girls whirling around for traditional beats, group dances and songs, to twirling our prestigious national flag marking the unity in diversity; the cultural event proved to be a visual treat for the entire audience of students, alumni, teachers, staff, parents and invited guests.  

A special thanks to all the student coordinators for their dedication, and to faculties and admin staff members for their dedication and support.

The Annual Day program ended with National Anthem and standing ovation to the Nation…
