CKSVIM along with Yi Vadodara organized a workshop on Professional Etiquette on 11th November 2017.

The session commenced with a quick recap of what Ms Sonal Bhavsar shared in her previous session on “Power of Dressing”. Ms Bhavsar explained how professional etiquette meant the customary code of polite behavior in society or among members of a particular profession.

Ms. Bhavsar called up volunteers to exhibit the etiquettes one should keep in mind while interacting with seniors as well as junior irrespective of the later’s gender. She also explained why professional etiquettes didn’t change for both genders and remained the same. Apart from professional etiquettes, she also demonstrated few of basic yet important etiquettes meant to followed in our lives, may it be greeting our subordinates to using “Pardon” when you didn’t heard the talk properly. She also portrayed how to give and take business cards, which was less known but would be of great use in our management future. She ended the session with a quiz which was answered rightly by students and she explained where ever some students raised doubts.

This session had given lot of knowledge and the dos & don’ts to take back to home.

One of the golden rules stated throughout the session was; ‘Treat others the way you would like to be treated.” It was rightly quoted by Clarence Thomas that “Good manners will open doors that the best education can’t.”
