The first book of CKSVIM titled ‘CSR PROFILE OF INDIA INC.- CASE STUDIES’, published by Excel India Publishers, Delhi, Editors Dr. Rajesh Khajuria and Ms. Ranjita Banerjee (bearing ISBN No. 978-93-84869-61-8) was released on June 2, 2015, in the ‘Gujarat CSR Summit 2015’ in Deep Auditorium, MSU Campus.

The book is divided in two sections, first bearing topics related to CSR perspectives and Section-II bearing case studies of 19 corporate’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) related activities. The book discusses the inter-play of ethics, governance and sustainability as the back-drop of CSR. The book comprises of cases studied by the students of MBA Sem-IV of the corporate chosen and studied by them from the company’s websites and CSR Annual Reports. The book shall be a useful reading for students, faculties, corporate, educationists, Trusts, government bodies, industry associates and anyone interested in the noble cause of CSR. The book also intends to arouse the need for engaging in such community engagement activities as they deem fit for their organization, by studying 19 corporate live cases picked by the students and faculties. The learning is that if there is a true urge to work for the grass-root level then not only large enterprises but also Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) can do their bit for the cause and help to make a difference.
